Project: Eureka Teen Achievement Program
Grantee: Girls Incorporated of Alameda County
Grant Year: 1999 and 1998
The
Eureka! Teen Achievement Program enables young women to view their futures as full of opportunity and possibility. This intensive four-year program motivates girls to pursue higher education, explore non-traditional careers, and gain tremendous self-confidence. Eureka girls get "hands-on" with science, math, computers, architecture, and sports. The Three Guineas Fund has sponsored this project with two founder's discretionary grants of $1,000 each.
