BRAC Africa Loan Fund

Three Guineas Fund invested in the multimillion-dollar BRAC Africa Loan Fund along with a number of other foundations to scale up BRAC microfinance operations in Tanzania, Southern Sudan and Uganda. The capital allowed BRAC to reach over 700,000 borrowers through more than 200 branches.
The BRAC Africa Loan Fund represents the largest single financing of a southern hemisphere development organization expanding into Africa.
